Antje Richter, Associate Professor of Chinese, is the current president of theÌý. TheÌýEarly Medieval China GroupÌýwas established to promote the communications between scholars who focus onÌýthe Early Medieval period in East Asia. The group publishesÌýEarly Medieval China, the only English language journal devoted exclusively to academic scholarship relating to the period roughly between the end of the Han and beginning of the Tang eras.
