Army ROTC Cadets from the Golden Buffalo Battalion came together on CU-Boulder’s South Campus this past weekend to conduct another Land Navigation Super Lab. Cadets were given a written land navigation test that requires them to pass with a 70% or higher score. After passing the written test, the Cadets moved onto the solo land nav practical course test. Those that received less than a 70% were pared up with MSIV Cadets to refine their knowledge and land nav skills.

This type of training further enhances a Cadet’s land navigation skills. All Junior Cadets are encouraged to participate in this training that will help prepare them for their Cadet Summer Training (CST) – or also known as Summer Advanced Camp. Despite the deep snow in some areas, this training went off without a hitch and the Cadets did a great job at navigating the varied terrain of the Boulder County foothills.
