Maria Theresa Villatoro is an educator, activist聽and social entrepreneur working at the intersection of human development and design. As a social entrepreneur, she firmly believes that a tech-driven education is our best bet for empowerment while striving for national development. Thus, Maria is committed to distributing robots assembled from electric waste and cardboard in Latin America and Africa through her STEM IN A BOX initiative. Maria graduated cum laude from ESCP Business School, where she studied management in London, Turin and Berlin. She is a UNESCO youth representative, a One Young World Ambassador,聽and a Yunus & Youth fellow.
