The Center for Asian Studies is pleased to announce the upcoming event:

The Crane Wife is a puppet theatre performance based on the Japanese folk tale of the same name.  The show features puppets, actors, shadow theatre, masks, movement, and live music.  Inspired by Japanese culture and aesthetic as well as Japanese theatre forms such as Bunraku, Kabuki and Noh, the show creates an enchanting atmosphere to take the audience on a mystical journey. Free admission.

There will be two performances: Friday, September 14 at 7 PM and Saturday, September 15 at 3 PM. Both performances will take place at the , on CU-Boulder campus.
