The Benson Center for the Study of Western Civilization has three part-time paid internship positions available. Applications are being accepted now on Handshake.
The goal of the Benson Center internship is to engage students in meaningful projects that will听allow students to develop their resumes with concrete skills and experiences.听The Center is unlike other academic units on campus in that we听host a variety of events each semester, produce the Free Mind podcast,听work closely with campus leadership, and recruit听visiting scholars from a variety of backgrounds and professional experience.听

A successful candidate has a working knowledge of MS Office suite, and other basic software. Candidates should be diligent, work well independently, be听professional and positive, and have good customer service skills.听A听demonstrated interest in Western Civilization and/or current affairs should be emphasized in the application, as contributing to the Center's mission is critical to the internship. This can include the student's declared major/minor or previous work, intern, or volunteer experience.听Experience in Adobe Audition and Premier Pro desirable but not required.
