Liz is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the State of Colorado. She graduated with her Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver in 2007. She also holds a BA in Psychology and Women’s Studies from the University of Northern Colorado.

Prior to coming to CU, Liz worked within the criminal justice system providing individual therapy, group therapy, and assessments to clients who were incarcerated and those who were under community supervision. Liz utilizes a variety of models in her therapy practice including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
