CU Boulder has partnered with the AWorld app from ActNow, the United Nations’ campaign for individual action on climate change and sustainability. The app allows users to weave sustainability into their everyday lives and track their impact.

What is the AWorld App?
AWorld is a platform and mobile app that guides and incentivizes people to live more sustainably and take action for a healthier planet.Ìý
Ìýuses theÌýÌýto promote sustainability, recommend daily actions to reduce our carbon footprints and create a community working together toward building sustainability.Ìý
The AWorld app includes features to personalize your experience, learn about sustainability and track your progress.
Challenges:ÌýThe CU team will be able to participate in challenges and work together to increase our impact through sustainable activities.
Journeys:ÌýThe app uses the Journeys tool to provide education through storytelling and resources organized into easy-to-follow episodes.
Habits:ÌýThe app provides a list of practices that allow users to log their impact based on individual daily actions. An action could include riding a bike, using a reusable coffee mug, eating a meat-free meal, recycling and more.

As part of our sustainability initiative, CU Boulder promotes programs and tools to enhance sustainability for our campus community. The AWorld app is a tool to help guide people to live sustainably by showcasing the importance and impact of sustainable choices through daily decisions. Our goal with the app is to help our community understand the way to a truly sustainable lifestyle through educational resources, team challenges, tips and more.

How to Use the AWorld App
Step 1: Download the app fromÌýÌýorÌý.ÌýÌýIf you are already a user, logout.Ìý
Step 2: Select “Organization Loginâ€
Step 3: Search “ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Boulderâ€
Step 4: Login with your credentials to join the CU team
Step 5: Sign up to participate in challenges offered to the CU community.Ìý
Step 6: Contribute to challenges by logging in and recording actions as complete.
Step 7: Share the app with friends and family to promote sustainability and increase your impact.
