I have a varied background both in education and business. After putting myself through college and earning my BS degree in Elementary Education, I taught first grade for a few years.Ìý I joined the private sector and was the Director at Private schools and then the Director of Education at Sylvan Learning Center for 6 years. I joined CU Boulder in 2012 and began as the Environmental Engineering Academic Advisor in 2014.

I am proud to say that I was the first person in my family that was able to attend college, which fuels my strong passion for helping students grow and do well.
