I'm excited to be an academic advisor in the CU Boulder Engineering Partnership Program at Colorado Mesa University. While Colorado is my home, the Midwest will always have a piece of my heart. I earned my B.A. in Political Science (minor in technical writing) from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, and my M.A. in Rehabilitation and Counselor Education from the University of Iowa. In college, I was a camp counselor, an admissions ambassador, and an undergraduate research assistant. Before becoming a Buff, I worked as a university scholarship program advisor, high school counselor, and a therapist. I really enjoy helping students find their community and connect to resources that will support their academic success.Ìý

In my free time, I love to hike with my husband and our German Sherpherd/Rottweiler, Archie. I also like to teach barre, read fantasy and historical fiction books, play board games, and connect with friends over a campfire.
