We hope your summer was a good one! Our whole leadership team would like to welcome you to CU Boulder’s American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) chapter! Our core beliefs are to build community by bridging science and technology with traditional Native values. AISES' ultimate goal is to be a catalyst for the advancement of American Indians and Alaska Natives as they seek to become self-reliant and self-determined members of society. We are truly excited to have you join us as we grow as a club and strive to provide more opportunities for our members’ success!
We have worked hard all summer to line up social, cultural, and professional events to bring everyone together, especially after a long and difficult year of isolation and remote learning. The fun begins with our first meeting on August 31, 5-6 p.m. in the BOLD Center. The BOLD Center is located in the Engineering Center on the first floor, down the hall of the Civil Engineering wing. If you need help finding us, you can ask anyone working the front desk in the entrance of the Engineering Center!Ìý
Being a part of AISES is an amazing experience, especially meeting everyone else in our chapter, going to conferences together, and building friendships that will last you through college and beyond. We are all here to support one another and would love to see you as a friendly face this year.
