Nine affinity-based, professional engineering and STEM听societies have their CU Boulder chapter offices in the BOLD Center. These societies provide a variety of functions and programming, including:

  • Hosting guest speakers
  • Organizing social events
  • Sponsoring student attendance at national conferences听
  • Sponsoring entries in national competitions听
  • Making a world of difference as an engineer before you graduate!

Membership in professional societies is open to anyone who supports the organization鈥檚 mission. Please contact individual societies for membership information.

American Indian Science & Engineering Society

AISES' mission听is to be a catalyst for the advancement of American Indians and Native Alaskans as they seek to become self-reliant and self-determined members of society听by bridging science and technology with traditional Native values.

National Society of Black Engineers

NSBE's mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.听

oSTEM听strives to provide networking opportunities, professional development, social proceedings, and safe space for the LGBTQ community belonging to science, technology, engineering, and math fields on campus.

Society of Asian Scientists & Engineers
