Cooper Casale is a PhD student studying the aesthetic forms of late capitalism. His research considers Marxian theories of surplus-value in relation to the political economy of popular culture. He has written articles forÌýThe Journal of Popular CultureÌýand theÌýJournal of Wyndham Lewis Studies,Ìýand his poetry and fiction have appeared in nationally circulating magazines such asÌýstorySouth,ÌýNew South Journal,ÌýThe Chattahoochee Review,Ìýand elsewhere. Prior to arriving at CU, Cooper earned his MFA in poetry from Georgia College & State University and his MA in English Literature from The University of Tulsa.
