Announcements:

  • The Boulder Faculty Assembly is preparing a petition to urge the Board of Regents of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ to divest from fossil fuels. Look for this petition to sign soon.Ìý

  • We attended several meetings last week:

    • We met with the Associate Vice Chancellor fo Integrity, Safety and Compliance to discuss recent transit-related safety issues on campus.

    • We me with the Senior Vice Chancellor for DEI for discuss what DEI issues are top priorities for grad students. The SVC for DEI will be visiting the Assembly on November 30th. This meeting is open to the public.

    • We met with other Shared Governance Groups (faculty, staff and administration) to discuss the campus common curriculum which is being implemented Spring 2023.

  • From Todd Saliman- what can the University do better to ensure student safety?Ìý

  • Campus has updated itsÌýpaid parental leave policy andÌýlactation room policy. These policy changes have immediate impacts for students who have given birth in the last year or are about to give birth.
