Graduate students are required to maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA in all work attempted while enrolled in the Graduate School, and must also meet all program-specific requirements. The Graduate School may request that a student complete an Academic Recovery Plan (ARP) for two reasons.
The cumulative GPA is well below the minimum standard (2.5 or lower) or the conditions of a previous academic warning period were not met.
Ìý Ìý 2.ÌýUnsatisfactory Progress Report
A progress report has indicated that a student is not making adequate academic progress related to program-specific requirements.
In both cases, students must work closely with their faculty advisor (and in some cases the Director of Graduate Studies) to create a recovery and support plan by which they can return to good academic standing.ÌýAdditional information regarding academic standing can be found in theÌýGraduate School Rules.
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ will need to provide the following information to proceed:
You will receive notification upon submission, and the academic recovery plan will be routed to your faculty advisor and graduate director for endorsement, using the e-mail addresses provided.ÌýYour graduate program assistant will receive a copy.ÌýAfter review by the Graduate School, the student and program will receive notification.
