My name is Adam Pallas (he/him), and I'm the Coordinator for Gaming Programs. I'm an alumnus of the University of Minnesota twice-over, earning my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and my Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development. I started at CU Boulder in August 2023 on the first day of Fall Welcome. I oversee the operations of the Alienware Buffalo Esports and Gaming Lounge, I coordinate events for all students related to all forms of gaming, and I serve our Gaming RSOs as their CSI liaison. My strengths reside in relationship-building and systems thinking, and I infuse my practice with scholarship related to leadership development, systems thinking and critical theories, and self-authorship development.Ìý
I’m originally from Woodbury, MN, a suburb of the Twin Cities metro. My favorite place on campus is the top floor of the UMC with its postcard views of the Flatirons. I love the gaming and nerd culture, and I won’t say no to a philosophical conversation. My favorite thing to do outside of work is my hobby Twitch stream; fostering community, creating internet content, and entertaining others brings me such joy! I also love a good epic high-fantasy book series: Brandon Sanderson's CosmereÌýseries is top of my list. And if I could choose any superpower, I would want the ability to change the direction gravity pulls on things. It's not just flying, it's falling with style!
