  • To maintain F-1 or J-1 visa status, the federal regulations require students and scholars in F-1 and J-1 status to report any address changes within 10 days of moving.Ìý

The address you report should be the address where you are living even if the address is a temporary address. Do not use a P.O. box, a CU campus address, or a friend’s address (unless you are staying with your friend).ÌýÌýÌý

To comply with these regulatory requirements, students should check the regularly and update their local mailing address when necessary.Ìý

  • F1/J1 international = address in home countryÌý

  • Local address = local address in the U.S.Ìý

Participating in Post-Completion Optional Practical Training (OPT)

If you are currently on post-completion OPT, update your address and telephone number in the the . You can also update your address in the for alumni purposes.

Participating in Academic Training (AT) after Completing Your Degree

ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ in J-1 status, complete the Address & Contact Information Update e-form (available in the General Forms section of the MyISSS portal) to report a new address to ISSS during your post-completion Academic Training authorization period.

Scholars in J-1 Status
