Following that, he gave a talk at the International Slavic Studies conference in Makuhari, Japan, about his new book project, Grief: The History of the World’s First Holocaust Liberation Photograph and the Man Who Took It, and will be presenting a paper on the subject at USC’s Casden Institute onÌýWednesday, September 9.
