Ellie Landrum

Ellie Landrum is our Events and Outreach Director for the student advisory board. She is a junior majoring in Integrative Physiology and minoring in Hebrew and Israel Studies.ÌýÌý

Before attending CU Boulder, Ellie spent a year living in Israel on a gap year program. There she was able to volunteer with their EMT service and learned about the culture, history and the Israel/Palenstine conflict. That year cemented her interest in both the medical field and Jewish studies. Choosing to take classes in the program here inspired her to declare a minor and learn more about history and conflict through a different lens than when she lived in Israel. She hopes that being a part of the student advisory board will help her introduce the program and its many benefits and interests to students who might not otherwise interact with Jewish Studies.ÌýÌý

Along with the student advisory board, Ellie participates in a variety of other programs on campus. Throughout the week she works as a learning assistant for general chemistry on campus, assisting in lecture and recitation sessions. On the weekends she volunteers at a local hospital in Boulder. When not in class or working, you can find Ellie hanging with friends, reading or snowboarding during the winter.ÌýÌý
