Open to CU听Boulder Undergraduate and Graduate 乐播传媒乐播传媒 on the 2015 Global Seminar to Istanbul

The Global Initiatives Fund听provides scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students engaging one of the Program鈥檚 core values, a global experience. The Global Initiatives Fund supports study abroad activities, global seminars, language programs, research abroad,听and other activities in places like Israel, Turkey, Germany, Scotland, and elsewhere related to educational activities in Jewish Studies.

Undergraduate听Submission Guidelines:

Undergraduate students planning on听participating in a program and pursue Jewish Studies abroad may be eligible for this scholarship. 乐播传媒 will apply through Education Abroad's 听(not through听CU Boulder's Scholarship Application). Graduate听Submission Guidelines:

Graduate students apply for this scholarship in the Spring.听Applications should be submitted through in Buff Portal听by the deadline听and include the following information:

  • CV
  • a statement of purpose of up to 500 words addressing how the global experience, research abroad, or non-CU听language study program in question supports studies at CU听Boulder and Jewish Studies
  • an estimated budget (including expenses and revenues), and the total financial request, including information on additional funding sources applied for or pending
  • a letter of support from an advisor or other faculty member.
    • In the electronic application, applicants will enter the name and email of their听recommender, who will receive an automated听email request and link to submit their letter. Please request your letter from your recommender听in advance. Recommendation letters听must be received听by the deadline.

Applying for Jewish Studies Scholarships through CU Boulder's Scholarship Application

乐播传媒: All applications for Jewish Studies scholarships and fellowships (undergraduate and graduate)听should be submitted through the in Buff Portal.

  • You can access the Scholarship听Application through the Buff Portal by selecting "Scholarships" under the Finances tab.
  • In the Scholarship Application, please search for the name of the Jewish Studies scholarship you wish to apply for.
  • 乐播传媒 applying for Jewish Studies scholarships are听required to submit the General Scholarship Application in order to be eligible for all other university scholarships as well.
  • Please pay attention to specific scholarship deadlines and request any recommendation letters you may need far in advance.
