Welcome to the Damrauer Group

The Damrauer group is located in theÌýDepartment of ChemistryÌýat theÌý.

We are generally interested in controlling photochemical and photophysical transformations with research that cuts broadly across traditional disciplines of physical chemistry, physical inorganic chemistry, and physical organic chemistry. We exploitÌýtools ofÌýtime-resolved spectroscopiesÌý(femtoseconds to miliseconds),Ìýsynthesis, static electronic spectroscopies, electronic structure theory including applications to rate theories,Ìýelectrochemistry, and spectroscopiesÌýexploiting pulse shapers (both adaptive quantum control and mutidimensional spectroscopies) to uncover how energy and charge flow in complex molecular systems following absorption of light.Ìý
