Associate Professor Amy Javernick-Will, along with PhD student Casie Venable and Co-PIs Abbie Liel (Structural Engineering) and Danielle Rivera (Environmental Design), received an Innovative Seed Grant from the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ to study housing in the aftermath of the April 2016 earthquake in Ecuador. With this grant, the team will examine how communities participate in rebuilding housing, how these rebuilt houses are expected to perform, and the link between participation and performance.
