I am interested on understanding the sodiation mechanisms in Hard Carbon Anodes for Na-ion batteries using Synchrotron based techniques, with the aim of guiding the design of superior anode materials for batteries with optimized structure.
Education
Undergrad in Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) with a major in Chemical Engineering. I received a fellowship to study in Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden) in my 3rd year. Also I received another fellowship to Study at CU Boulder in my 4th year.
Fun Facts聽
Outside of lab Luis enjoys calisthenics, climbing, hiking, and playing chess as well as playing with his Sibirean husky named storm. A fun fact is that Luis has 3 nationalities.聽His favorite TV show is Breaking Bad and he enjoys listening to Led Zeppelin as well as the surrealism of Salvador Dal铆.聽
