EDUCATION
B.S. Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology (2019)

Hailey joined Team Weimer in the fall of 2019 after graduating from Georgia Tech in May. She grew up in Santa Cruz, California where she developed a deep passion for the environment. As an undergraduate, she held two internships with Sandia National Laboratories and did undergraduate research in the Kubanek Lab at Georgia Tech working on algal biofuels. As a graduate student, she uses atomic layer deposition in applications such as sintering aids for tungsten materials and functionalizing surfaces for carbon capture. Her thesis focuses on using molecular layer deposition to create materials for direct air capture of CO2.
