After three years working at a green chemistry start up in the Bay Area, Jess returned to school in Fall 2020 to further her capabilities as a research engineer. Growing up in the Silicon Valley, she has always been inspired by the power of innovation to improve the lives of others. Using atomic layer deposition, Jess studies and develops catalysts for sustainable energy applications.听 In her spare time, Jess loves playing pick-up soccer in the summer and skiing in the winter.听
