Madelyn joined Team Weimer in the fall of 2023 after graduating from the University of Kansas in May. As an undergraduate, she studied vapor-liquid-liquid equilibrium of ionic liquids and hydrofluorocarbon refrigerants. She also spent a summer at UMass Amherst and studied the chlorine stability of liquid-infused membranes. As a graduate student, she works with high temperature thermal storage materials. In her free time, Madelyn likes to run, watch reality TV, and make vegetarian recipes.
