Purpose: The goal of CU NROTCÌýis toÌýlead, organize, and set the conditions for all our Midshipmen, MECEPs, STA-21s to successfully complete academic and commissioning requirements and prepare for service as officers in the USN and USMC.
Method: The Battalion will work closely with the NROTC staff to develop, communicate, and execute an effective and efficient training plan and other activities & engagements that achieve the above priorities and leads to the desired endstate. CU Boulders NROTC wants to maximize integration between our Navy and Marine options and OCS/PLC students in areas that make sense while also preserving the necessary training preparations to enable success in summer training. As a student & tenet organization, the Bn will seek engagement with the University, local communities, & alumni to enable leadership opportunities and expand relationships.
Endstate: Upon graduation you will become a fully qualified, resilient, high-character, and balanced USN/USMC commissioned officers capable of immediately leading our nation’s Sailors and Marines while also attracting new members from the University, high school, and STA-21/MECEP ranks as the premier NROTC program in the nation.
