  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup sifted confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups sifted flour

Directions

  • cream butter.
  • gradually add sugar and salt creaming well.
  • stir in nuts and vanilla.
  • add flour gradually.
  • mix thoroughly.
  • shape by rounded teaspoon into balls or crescents.
  • bake at 325 for 15-18 minutes. do not brown.
  • roll warm in powdered sugar.
