I work in the Adaptive Memory Lab at the Institute of Cognitive Science and the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience. I use behavioral experiments in combination with functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to study how humans control their thoughts and forget unwanted memories and how memory is represented and silenced in the human brain. Outside the lab, I am an enthusiast for AI, archaeology, and movies, and I love music from all sorts of genres. I also go running and occasionally go surfing and skiing, and I also play pool in the Boulder Pool League with little to no success.
