Brian joined the department in 2018. 听He has previously taught at Washington University in St. Louis, C.U. Boulder, and California State University Los Angeles. 听Brian's work is on epistemology, ethics, and the intersection of ethics and epistemology.听

Brian's current work (including an in-progress book) is on how to bring the epistemic norms in line with what really matters to us. 听This calls for significant revision to our current accounts of the epistemic norms.

听

Brian's non-philosophical interests include drumming, video games, and cooking.
