The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) hopes this message reaches you and yours in good health. As we adapt to this new environment, OPA encourages postdocs to stay in contact with your mentor or advisor. As you may know, and are two university supported platforms for remote communication and are a convenient way to maintain connection.

While work in the lab may not be feasible, we hope you will explore other opportunities. There are a host of virtual in April. It’s also a great time to create or revisit an (IDP) with your mentor. As you may recall, an IDP helps postdocs identify both professional development needs and career objectives and serves as an essential communication tool between postdocs and their mentors.
