Department of Linguistics

I am a BAM student in the second year of my Master’s in the Linguistics department. My research interests lie in Language Documentation and Preservation. Specifically how social and identity issues in endangered languages are under researched and under documented. This leads to a misconception that these languages are simple or have large gaps in these sociological issues. I am invested in discovering the intersections between identity and language in these under researched languages through interactional linguistics.
