Department of Linguistics
I earned my MA聽in the Department of Linguistics at CU. I received my BA in Sociology and BA in Language, Society, and Culture from the University of California - Santa Barbara. My interests are in sociocultural linguistics and discourse analysis. My current research focus is in how queer and trans neurodivergent folks use humor in everyday interactions to construct and navigate meaning, identity, and community.
