I am interested in how double/multiple minority individuals and groups linguistically negotiate these multiple aspects of their identity. Specifically, I鈥檓 working with Two-Spirit (indigenous GLBTQ) groups as well as black indigenous individuals/communities specifically descendants of freedmen and the 鈥淔ive Civilized Tribes.鈥�
