Graduated with PhD in 2017
Katherine graduated with her PhD in Communication in 2017. She is interested in the intersections between cultural research, communication events, and organizing. Her dissertation research used the ethnography of communication to investigate organizational meetings as emergent events that cultivate the effects of organization and culture. She is also interested in how technologies participate in communication events, like meetings, and the appearance of order and disorder in organizing. She received her BA in Liberal Arts with a program of emphasis in Intercultural Communication and Public Relations from Juniata College in 2012. She earned her MA in Communication from the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Boulder in 2014.
