Department of Linguistics

I received my MA and PhD in the Department of Linguistics at CU. As a conversation analyst and sociocultural linguist, I investigate how humans interact in institutional and mundane contexts across the United States, in English and in Spanish. In addition to my participation in CLASP, while at CU I was also a research assistant in the Department of Linguistics, Department of Computer Science (CLEAR Lab), and Institute for Cognitive Science; a Lead Graduate Fellow with the Center for Teaching and Learning; and a Teaching, Learning, and Technology Initiatives Coordinator for ASSETT, Arts and Sciences Support of Education through Technology.Â
