Tiffany was born in Texas and attended the University of North Texas where she received her BA in Linguistics and Spanish. While at the University of North Texas, she learned about computational linguistics and was involved in a language documentation project. This sparked her interest in the intersection between language technologies and language documentation. She was later accepted to the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Boulder where she worked under Dr. Ambrocio Lorenzo in aiding in Teotitlán del Valle Zapotec documentation. In addition, she earned her concentration in Human Language Technologies and used her computational skills to create Zapotec language technologies. She continues developing her work even after completing her MA in linguistics from the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Boulder.Â
