Lily Fletcher
Lily Fletcher is a creative media maker, documentary filmmaker, and production manager double majoring in Media Production and Journalism. Her work focuses on nostalgia, memorabilia, and childrenās media with an aesthetic emphasis on DIY and collage work, as well as stop motion, animation, and doodling. Her work has been featured in the student category of the Mimesis Documentary Festival, and she will be graduating Summa Cum Laude with an Honors Thesis focused on the educational development of childrenās programming and is interested in pursuing a career in production management and development in childrenās media.

āColettaās: Dove Si Mangia Beneā is an interactive multimedia performative installation that delves into the history of my family, a prominent Italian-American clan rooted in Memphis. Inspired by a profound connection to Italy and a deep exploration of my own family's heritage during my time in Rome, this project became my endeavor to document the extraordinary narrative my family holds. Whether it's the creation of BBQ Pizza or my great-grandfather's association with Elvis Presley and his family, these stories are cherished gems waiting to be presented properly. I believe that each passing generation carries with it the risk of losing the vivid stories of the past, I embarked on this journey to preserve the legacies of my ancestors. Drawing from my artistic inclination towards whimsy and DIY aesthetics, I combined this with my passion for historical documentation, resulting in an installation that provides a fresh medium for storytelling.
