Student Conduct & Conflict Resolution works collaboratively with various support departments on campus and partners off campus. These departments offer additional resources such as confidential support, counseling, legal assistance, reporting tools or guidance to navigate resources during a crisis.

Off-Campus Housing & Neighborhood Relations (OCHNR)

OCHNR helps students with all aspects of living off campus, from searching for an apartment and roommate, understanding Boulder housing options and providing free lease reviews with our staff attorney, to navigating roommate disagreements, understanding Boulder ordinances and advocating for your rights as a student and tenant. Center for Inclusion and Social Change (CISC)

CISC supports all students in the exploration of their identities. They provide community-building programs, educational opportunities and a space for students to become active, informed global citizens by engaging with individuals from different cultures. Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC)

OIEC implements and enforces three university policies: Discrimination and Harassment; Sexual Misconduct, Intimate Partner Abuse and Stalking and Conflict of Interest in Cases of Amorous Relationships. Ombuds Office  

Ombuds serves as a good place to surface, voice, clarify and discuss university-related issues. They help people identify options to resolve disputes, to determine a course of action and to aid in the informal resolution of conflicts and concerns. Ultimately, individuals choose their own path of resolution. Reach out at 303-492-5077.

Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS)  

For confidential, on-campus mental health and psychiatric services, contact CAPS at 303-492-2277 (24/7 phone).


Health Promotion

Health Promotion provides outreach and education on a variety of health topics to help students make informed decisions about their health and well-being. Contact them at 303-735-4001 or in the Wardenburg Health Center.


Office of Victim Assistance (OVA)  

OVA provides confidential trauma response and prevention services, including advocacy, counseling and consultation to students, staff and faculty who have experienced trauma, protected class discrimination or are the victim of a crime. OVA can be contacted at 303-492-8855 or assist@colorado.edu

Student Legal Services (SLS)  

SLS help students resolve or minimize their legal situations so they can focus on school by providing high-quality legal services to them through an easily accessible program. Services are by appointment only.

The Boulder Police Department strives to be a premier law enforcement agency and a model of excellence in policing by creating partnerships, building trust, reducing crime and improving the quality of life for our community. Contact their non-emergency line at 303-441-3333.


The Boulder Municipal Court has jurisdiction over violations of city ordinances, including traffic, photo enforcement, parking, animal and misdemeanor criminal offenses that have occurred within the Boulder city limits. Contact them at 303-441-1841.


CU Boulder Police Department

The members of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Boulder Police Department (CUPD) are dedicated to providing the highest quality police services in order to enhance community safety, protect life and property, and reduce crime and the fear of crime. Contact their non-emergency line at 303-492-6666.

 

Any resource above that includes a lock symbol   is a confidential service. All other services are mandatory reporters.

If you disclose that you or someone else has been impacted by sexual misconduct, protected-class discrimination or harassment, intimate partner violence, stalking or related retaliation, we are required to share that information to the CU Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC) for outreach regarding support and reporting options. You are not required to respond to OIEC. Additionally, please note that the university takes disclosures around threat of harm to self or others seriously and when information of this nature is received, it will be shared with the appropriate offices to offer additional support and resources.

 
Don't ignore it, report it.

There are options for students, faculty and staff, and families to report concerns. Don't ignore mental health concerns, racism, harassment, discriminatory actions, unwanted sexual behavior, abuse in a relationship, stalking, other interpersonal violence and abusive conduct.
