Biography

As the director of communications for Strategic Resources and Support, Joshua Lindenstein serves the chief operating officer with executive communications support. As a member of the university鈥檚 central communications team, he also provides strategic communications support in coordination with a number of SRS operational units.聽

Josh served in various roles at the university prior to his current duties, most recently as interim chief spokesperson for the campus. Prior to that role, as an assistant director and spokesperson, he provided media relations and strategic communications support for CU Athletics and the campus as a whole around a number of topics, including the COVID-19 pandemic. He joined CU Boulder in 2017 as communications coordinator for the Office of Infrastructure and Sustainability after a journalism career that included editing and reporting roles at the Boulder Daily Camera and BizWest newspapers.聽

Josh is a CU Boulder graduate with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in journalism. He enjoys the outdoor opportunities in Colorado, and in his free time can often be found coaching on the youth softball and baseball diamonds of Boulder County.
