Recruitment Coordinator
Rico is a senior听studying Biochemistry and Sociology at CU. He is interested in both the microscopic, like molecular biology, and the macroscopic, such as the effects social institutions have on community health. After CU, Rico hopes to go into healthcare or graduate school.
When asked about his participation in HEAL, Rico says, "I originally joined HEAL because of the awesome members! I then came to appreciate the unique experience HEAL offered- we get to learn about various topics in public health and social justice while also being active in these fields through our chapter's partnership with Himalayan HealthCare in Nepal!"
A fun fact about Rico is that he听was born with really curly hair, "which I wish I still had!"
