Representatives of state high-technology businesses are invited to meet with faculty of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ at Boulder to discuss research areas that may be of mutual interest.

A series of informal "4+4 breakfasts," pairing a few company representatives and a few faculty researchers whose technical backgrounds or research programs may overlap with a company's research or manufacturing needs, is being sponsored by the Office of Technology Transfer and Industry Outreach.

If there is a match, possible outcomes include a sponsored research contract focused on a company's specific research problems, a student internship or a faculty consulting arrangement.

The long-range goal of the program is to introduce Colorado companies to the benefits of establishing and maintaining research relationships with the Boulder campus, said Steve ONeil, director of the Office of Technology Transfer and Industry Outreach.
