CU-Boulder Hillel's Sheer Kef a capella group and the Colorado Hebrew Chorale will present "An Evening of Jewish Music" on Thursday, Nov. 4, marking the first time the music ensembles have combined efforts to perform in Boulder.
The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. in the University Memorial Center Forum Room, on the campus of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ at Boulder. The program is free and open to the public.
The Colorado Hebrew Chorale, under the direction of Carol Kozak Ward accompanied by Randy Shapiro Weiss, was formed by Ward in September 1993. The Colorado Hebrew Chorale is committed to promoting Jewish music and serving the Jewish community.
Sheer Kef, under the direction of Wendy Aronson, is the a capella group organized through the Hillel Council of Colorado. The Hillel Council of Colorado has a long-standing commitment to building Jewish identity, while nurturing intellectual and spiritual growth in a pluralistic community.
