A 13-member search committee has been named to fill the position of vice chancellor for student affairs at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ at Boulder.

Ron Stump, former dean of students and associate vice chancellor for student affairs at CU-Boulder, was appointed interim vice chancellor last May, following the resignation of Jean Kim.

The committee, chaired by Brenda J. Allen, associate chair and associate professor of the communication department, will begin with a national search that will include internal candidates. The committee's goal is to conclude the search by the end of the spring semester.

The search committee will be staffed by Joey White of the ChancellorÂ’s Office. Garnett Tatum, director of the department of Equal Opportunity, will serve as ex-officio member.

The vice chancellor for student affairs is responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of programs and services intended to support the intellectual and personal development of students and to build a sense of community on the campus.

The search committee will begin the formal review of applications on Feb. 10.

The search will continue until the position is filled.
