Ozone and Antarctica

WHO: ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ at Boulder Science Discovery Program, 1999-2000 Science Explorers.

WHAT: Science Explorers, presented by CU-BoulderÂ’s Science Discovery Program, is a day of hands-on science workshops for teams of one teacher and five students from grades five through eight, which offers teachers the opportunity to experience new science curriculum in action. ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ and teachers will be involved in three workshops where they will find a lost researcher in a simulated Antarctic whiteout, measure ground level ozone and discover different materialsÂ’ ability to block UV rays, presenting plenty of photo opportunities. The workshop is not open to the public.
