This semester, the CWA Speaker Series will host two talks on the CU Boulder campus. The first will听feature听Daniel Traub,听NYC-based filmmaker and听photographer on Oct. 27.听Then on Nov. 3, the CWA will host听Vice President of Data Strategy for Twitter听Chris Moody. Both events are free and open to students and the community.
听will be hosted on campus on听Thursday, Oct.听27,听补迟听6:30 p.m. in Old Main. The evening will include a discussion, audience Q&A听and a multimedia presentation diving into the story behind the work in the award-winning photography book听Little North Road: Africa in China.
听joins the听听辞苍听Thursday, Nov.听3,听补迟听6:30 p.m.听in Old Main.听Moody听is considered a pioneer in the social data industry and has worked closely with leading social platforms such as Twitter, Tumblr, Foursquare, WordPress, Disqus and more to formulate and execute their data strategies. The event will include an on-stage interview by a CWA Student Volunteer and an audience Q&A. The CWA Speaker Series will also be fielding questions for Moody ahead of and during the event via Twitter.
