On Saturday, Dec. 3, join HackCU for Local Hack Day, a global听"hackathon" event aimed at bringing local students together for a day of learning, building and sharing.
The听event, conceived by the official student hackathon league Major League Hacking (MLH),听is a 12-hour day that takes place simultaneously on school campuses worldwide to听celebrate building听awesome technology. Throughout the day, there will be chatrooms and activities to meet other hackers.
The MLH website states: "Whether you are a seasoned hackathon veteran or have never been to a hackathon before, Local Hack Day is the best way to kick off the 2017 MLH Hackathon Season."
HackCU provides the space and resources for participants to express their creativity, ingenuity and determination to create anything they set their mind to. Any and all students are welcome to join. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.听at the Idea Forge in the Fleming building.
