System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection is now the 听for all campus computers, officially replacing Sophos for Macs. This change does not apply to personally-owned machines听and is far more likely to affect Mac users, as the Office of Information Technology (OIT) has already been recommending and installing this software on campus PCs for some time.
If you have Sophos or another antivirus provider installed on your university-owned Mac, please work to uninstall that software and install System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection for Mac. for step-by-step instructions on how to install.听
