For several years, CU Boulder has partnered with Bright Horizons to give employees access to the Bright Horizons Care Advantage program.ÌýWhether you are looking for permanent child care, an after-school sitter, need help with adult/elder care planningÌýor need someone to care for your beloved pet—Bright Horizons has resources to help you.Ìý

CU Boulder employees are eligible to access to the Bright Horizons Care Advantage program and get access to:

  • Sittercity membership, includingÌýaÌýwaived $140/year registration fee that provides you with access to a nationwide network of caregivers. In addition to the waived registration fee, you have access to free basic background checks, which are typically $15 to $25 per check. Employees are responsible for all costs of care under this program.
  • Years Ahead membership,ÌýaÌýsenior-care solution that will help you understand and find the right level of care for aging loved ones.
  • Preferred enrollment accessÌýand tuition discounts at participating child care centersÌýnationwide.

Over a thousand employees have enrolled in the CU Boulder Bright Horizons program. While the majority of employees enrolled reported using it to find part-time childcare, overall uses include full-time childcare, elder care, tutoring, housekeepingÌýand petsitting.
