CU Boulder’s United Government of Graduate ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ (UGGS), along with the graduate student governments from the University of Denver, Colorado School of Mines, CU Anschutz and Colorado State University, is one of the founding members of the Colorado Federation for Graduate ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ (CFGS). This organization is the first of its kind in the country.
CFGS, recognized by the National Association of Graduate-Professional ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ (NAGPS), is an advocacy group formed as a result of major issues that arose last academic year—proposed tax bill, DACA, the PROSPER Act—which would have benefited from a statewide support network. Going forward, CFGS will advocate for and support the needs of graduate students across the state of Colorado.
