Commencement is around the corner and volunteers are needed to ensure the experience is enjoyable, celebratory and smooth for everyone who will be visiting campus in celebration of graduating students.

Campus is recruiting volunteers for the following roles for ceremonies taking place May 9 and 10:

Golf cart driver

Pick-up and drive around parents, students and others who need assistance in moving from one location to another. Volunteers must take or have taken the university defensive driving course training prior to the beginning of the volunteer shift. There will be a quick training before volunteers depart for the day that will further explain routes and pick-up/drop-off locations.

Ceremony tent hosts

The role of a tent host is to serve as a representative of the Commencement Committee in support of the departmental ceremony planner. Think of yourself as the event venue manager and host for your shift!
